When did you start coaching and what is your background: |
I started coaching in an organizational role in 2001 with Heather Rankin's team and it quickly led me to love the sport of curling and the mental aspect of the game. I have been acting as an administrator, coach, sports psychologist ever since. I started my coaching career in a skating rink where I coached figure skating for many years. I am a Level 2 curling coach (working on Practical) and Level 1 skating coach. |
| Favorite Curling Moment: |
Watching Team Jones win the worlds in 2008 and Cathy O cry like a baby! Ha! |
| Favorite Female Curler: |
World Champion Cathy O, as she is one of the best line callers in the game, is tremendous at team emotional management and being the strength when it is needed. She is also an amazing shot maker and a great women to meet. |
| Favorite Male Curler: |
David Nedohin because of his passion and amazing talent. Also his ability to understand what is important in life and in curling |
| Curling Role Model: |
Heather Rankin as she puts so much into the sport and has a true respect for the history of the game. She brings that to her game and makes a positive impact on anyone who has the privilege of curling with or against her. |

I love coaching this team because everyone is open to doing their best, has great communication, and loves the sport. It is passion, drive & confidence that makes every effort worth the ride. |
